Local Planning Council
The Local Planning Council for Child Care Development ensures every child has access to quality care that educates and enriches by coordinating early care and education services throughout our community, connecting families with opportunities that help children thrive.

The LPC is excited to support our community in establishing Universal PreKindergarten (UPK). UPK is bringing more flexible, high-quality early learning choices for 3- and 4-year-olds that address families' childcare needs. All families in California–regardless of immigration and income status–are eligible to participate.
